Monday, November 30th through Sunday, December 20th, 2020
The LA County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) issued a new Safer at Home Order. The order reinstates several use restrictions that will impact our community, outlined below:
• Playgrounds are closed.
• Personal Training in our community parks and all youth sports practices are prohibited.
• Tennis courts are still open but limited to play with members of your household.
• Parks are still open but you’re only allowed to gather with members of your own household.
These new restrictions will be in effect beginning Monday, November 30, 2020 through December 20, 2020, or until the newest Safer at Home Order is revised or lifted.
The Campus at Playa Vista Corporation will endeavor to enforce the restrictions imposed by LACDPH, but we are asking for your cooperation. We are all in this together. By adhering to these new restrictions, wearing a face covering whenever you leave your home and practicing physical distancing will help reduce and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community. If you are feeling sick or unwell, please stay home.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our residents and community.

While we know the Daily Shuttle and Beach Shuttle are a fun and popular form of community transportation for travel around Playa Vista and to and from destinations in and around Marina del Rey, the safety of our residents and visitors is our first priority. In response to the rapidly-changing COVID-19 pandemic and in support of social distancing, the Daily Shuttle and Beach Shuttle have suspended services until further notice.

Below is communication on what The Campus at Playa Vista Property Owners Association (POA) is doing to promote social distancing in the hopes of preventing the spread of COVID-19. Please read and feel free to share among your staff, tenants, friends and neighbors. We are all in this together and hope life returns to normal soon.
We know you are following the fast-changing reports about the COVID-19 pandemic. Just yesterday, California implemented a number of new measures and the CDC recommended halting all gatherings larger than 50 for the next eight weeks. We wish to share some important actions the POA is taking in response. Social distancing and increased hygiene continue to be the best ways to reduce exposure and spread. To enforce social distancing, cities throughout California and beyond have closed schools, public events and places where people gather.
ACTIONS: We are taking several significant actions based on the evolving situation. To fully implement each of these may take some time, but we will make information available as quickly as we can. A list of amenity closures/cancelations is listed below for your convenience. These closures are effective immediately and until further notice:
• The POA maintenance crew is working in each open park area with increased adherence to new health and safety guidelines.
• All Community and Private Events planned at Campus Central Park, Steve Soboroff Court Park, Volleyball Park or Spruce Park are cancelled through the end of December 2020.
• All Soccer field reservations at the small or large soccer field at Campus Central Park are cancelled through the end of April 2020.
• No new park permit reservations at Campus Central Park, Steve Soboroff Court Park, Volleyball Park or Spruce Park will be granted until further notice.
• The POA Board will continue to assess the situation and make announcements moving forward regarding additional amenity closures, operating hours and work policies.
When visiting all other park amenities, we ask that you use common sense practices and follow the CDC’s recommendation for “Social-Distancing.” Wash your hands often with soap and water, use hand sanitizers when hand washing is not possible, do not touch your face, cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing and PLEASE stay home if you are sick.
Please do not hesitate to contact the POA property management team if you have any questions or concerns via email at email@example.com
Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to resuming routine life as soon as possible.
